New Years Resolutions! Inspired by LaurenConrad.com

Hello everyone

I wanted to firstly say a huge thank you to those who stuck by me over the last month.

If you didn’t know, for the past year I have been on a waiting list to have my left eye operated on and in this last month my year of waiting finally came to an end and I had the surgery.
I have been in recovery for 2 weeks now (one more week to go).

Although my vision is still extremely blurry and I still have not gotten used to looking through both eyes at the same time….. I couldn’t be happier with the results.

It’s funny looking over my life in the past month and although something like this might just seem like a little operation or a minor point in someone’s life, to me it’s been really life changing.  Not just because I can fully see again but because it’s shown me who in my life is really there for me and my daughter.  It’s shown me who really cares about us and who will be there when times really do get rough again.

In saying that I have made a few changes to my life…..

There is nothing more important to me than seeing my daughter happy and healthy and I fully believe in order to be truly happy you have to surround yourself with happy people and supportive people; this brings me to my 2015 New Year’s resolutions….

I found this on Lauren Conrads site.

I think it’s the one she made for today 2014 but I like it so I made my own for 2015, printed it and framed it. I placed it next to the TV in my bedroom, this way I’ll see it every day and there’s no excuses…… they are placed right in front of my eyes!

I go this beautiful frame from the reject shop for $7

What are your New Years Resolutions?
